The Henrietta Barnett School is searching for a coordinator to manage Sixth Form admissions and support reception duties. This role requires strong IT skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while contributing to a team.
Responsibilities:
- Co‑ordinate and administer Sixth Form admissions applications and enrolment.
- Organise and lead the school's Year 12 Open Evenings, Offer Holders Day, and coordinate new Year 12 welcome and induction events with the Sixth Form leadership.
- Manage all Sixth Form admissions enquiries and support the admissions pages on the school website.
- Prepare all Sixth Form admissions spreadsheets, application forms, invitations and other paperwork.
- Administer any Sixth Form admissions appeals.
- Provide administrative database support.
- Use online survey tools for admissions where needed.
- Administer students' personal and academic data for Year 12‑13 enrolment or off‑roll in liaison with the School Information Manager.
- Respond to or support responses to Freedom of Information requests regarding Sixth Form admissions.
- Collaborate with the Sixth Form leadership team throughout admission events and support.
- Provide administrative support for the Year 7‑11 admissions process when requested, including data processing, event assistance, and email handling in liaison with the Officer in charge of Year 7‑11 admissions.
- Manage the programme of school site lettings: bookings, prospective and supplier site visits, communications, and liaison with the school's site team.
- Administer students' academic information (e.g., timetable, option choices) where required and in liaison with the School Information Manager.
- Work from School Reception and cover enquiries and other reception duties as required.
- Play a part in the Support Staff team, including general administration, first aid, and contributing to the daily running of the school.
- Perform other reasonable duties as requested by the Head or Senior Leadership Team or school pastoral leaders.
