The Henley College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Teacher of Accountancy to join our friendly and supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity to teach both Accountancy and Business across Level 2 and Level 3 (A Level and BTEC), helping students to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence in a dynamic learning environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons, supporting student progress, and contributing to a high-quality teaching and learning experience.
  • Plan and deliver innovative lessons, assess student performance, and support learners to achieve their full potential while promoting a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to curriculum development, quality assurance, and continuous improvement, ensuring that provision meets the needs of learners and aligns with awarding body requirements.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Accountancy or a related subject.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or working towards one).
  • Relevant accountancy experience.
  • Experience of planning and delivering engaging lessons.
  • Experience of assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Experience of adapting teaching to meet diverse learner needs.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to motivate and engage young people.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to teamwork.
  • A commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
