Location: Hereford Ciderie

Contract: Permanent

What’s the role?

As the Materials Scheduler, you will be reporting to the Site Scheduling Manager and supporting the Scheduling team to deliver a comprehensive production planning service. This means relying on your experience of scheduling production material deliveries for Cider production (preferably), Process and Packaging in a manner that meets supplier order lead-times, HEINEKEN Procurement criteria and allows dependent production activity to hit or exceed Heineken’s Conformance to Schedule targets

It’s all about you and the scheduling team hitting the ‘sweet spot’ between material availability, storage space, and working capital value.

With our Heineken Behaviours as your guidelines, we’d love you to take our very complex supply planning process and use your analytical and problem‑solving skills to "Keep It Simple"! This means constantly managing information flows with stakeholders, using your listening, and communications skills to build strong relationships across functions. These relationships will result in more open conversations when we are all under pressure, allowing you to be an effective key driver in the scheduling process.

At Heineken we promote and support Smarter Working, in this role there is some flexibility required to meet the needs of the various departments it supports.

What we are looking for?

We are always looking to build on our processes and bringing the outside in! We are looking for someone with advanced spreadsheet skills and experience in using INFOR AS & SAP (APO). Previous experience in Liquid Planning, Manufacturing and or Supply Chain Operations (e.g. Purchasing, Technical or Logistics) would be beneficial, especially within a similar complex supply chain environment.

Our Benefits:

  • Annual bonus
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Double matched pension contributions (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday (with the opportunity to buy/sell)
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers!
  • Exciting opportunities to develop your career

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.

We’ve 150 years of brewing history and are proud of this legacy. Yet we’re sure our best days are ahead of us. Every one of our colleagues has a role to play as we dream big, set bold ambitions and push the boundaries. We support colleagues on this journey with development opportunities and unique experiences to help them reach their full potential.

If you need any adjustments made to support your application, for example if you require information in different formats, or if you have any accessibility issues, then we’re more than happy to review our processes - please feel free to get in touch with us as [email protected]
