Closing Date 31st July. Please note, we’re looking for a right turnaround on this role, interviews are likely to be soon after the closing date

We’re looking for someone that is as ready to evolve for the future as we are. If you’re ready to brew a new career, apply for this great role as Key Customer Manager

“I’m looking for a forward-thinking individual who is commercially minded and customer driven. Someone who is ambitious, likes to try new things and realise their full potential! You’ll be joining a close-knit team, all moving in the same direction with the wider departments to achieve the HORECA dream case ”Fern, hiring manager

About the role

In this role, you’ll work within the HORECA team, a diverse channel that is currently shaping the future of the On-Trade by working across a variety of channels and with a number of major customers. You’ll be integral to the HORECA growth strategy and be the face of HEINEKEN for existing customers and new prospects. You’ll not only work closely with our wider On-Trade team, but also our trade marketing, finance, category, revenue and brands teams too! You’ll have exposure to a bunch of talented individuals who are just as passionate about our brands as you are – there’s always someone to learn from!

As the Key Customer Manager, you will have full P&L responsibility for your aligned business partners. You also plan the activations with our marketing and category teams – you really are the owner of the wider customer partnership!

The main goal is to agree, execute and deliver joint value creation agreements with these strategically important customers, to support in delivering key commercial KPI’s.

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for someone that’s analytically minded, but with the ability to build and grow relationships and implement strategic initiatives. With strong interpersonal, influencing, and negotiation skills, you will have the ability to work with a broad spectrum of stakeholders. Your ability to plan and implement plans will help you gain a real commercial advantage.

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude and a good team player. You should have a desire to learn and be continuously curious about how our channel works and what we could be doing differently – we’re always up for a positive challenge so there’s loads to achieve here.

This role needs someone who’s great at building relationships across both our customer base and our internal teams. You’ll be managing a broad contact strategy with customers and colleagues, so we’re looking for someone who can flex their style and leave a great impression.

Here’s some of the more technical stuff we’re looking for.

  • P&L Experience – this is crucial in role as you’ll have overall P&L responsibility for your allocated Horeca accounts. Therefore, you’ll need to understand the customer P&L, the moving parts of the JBP and make decisions on investments into individual and multiples accounts from a new business perspective.
  • Negotiation skills – you may find there to be conflict with your goals and the business/customers objectives, a KCM needs to have broad thinking to make the right commercial decision. Experience and the ability to negotiate to get the best outcome for Heineken UK and the customer in key to this
  • Deliver Through Others – Often to achieve your ambitions, you’ll need to deliver through other teams and this role is no different and fundamental to winning will be the ability to engage and inspire both internally and externally

In addition to your base salary, you’ll also receive:

  • An annual bonus
  • Company Car (a full UK drivers licence is required for this role)
  • Meal and Broadband Allowance
  • Company funded Private Medical Healthcare
  • Double matched pension (up to 10%)
  • 35 days holiday
  • A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers! (low and no alcohol options available)
  • Exciting opportunities to develop your career

You’ll also get the opportunity to get involved with one of our colleague networks where groups of colleagues from all over the business work together to ensure we’re always working towards being a diverse and inclusive company.
