At HEINEKEN UK, we’re proud to brew some of the nation’s most iconic beers and ciders; but we’re just as proud of the careers we build and the people who shape them. Right now, we’re looking for a Customer Development Manager (CDM) to join our field sales team covering the North of Scotland region. Whether you’re working in FMCG, retail, hospitality, or another fast‑paced environment, if you’ve got commercial experience and a passion for working with people, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role:
As one of HEINEKEN’s CDMs, you’ll be responsible for growing HEINEKEN’s presence across a variety of outlets - from community locals to trendsetting bars. You’ll work closely with customers to boost brand visibility and commercial performance. You’ll develop strategic plans that drive mutual value, ensure our products are in the right places at the right times, and help customers bring our brands to life. You’ll also align with major marketing activations; from Champions League and Rugby Champions Cup to UEFA Women’s Euros and Formula 1.
So, what will you be doing? Here are some of the key accountabilities:
- Deliver on Volume, Revenue, Profit and Market Share targets.
- Negotiating and executing Commercial Agreements.
- Offering insight-driven category and ranging advice.
- Understanding customer P&Ls and supporting business growth.
- Strengthening HEINEKEN’s presence in the North of Scotland region.
Who we’re looking for:
We’re looking for someone with commercial drive, strong relationship‑building skills, and the curiosity to learn and grow. You don’t need to come from an identical role; if you’ve built experience in sales, account management, or business development in any industry, you could be a great fit. We’re keen to hear from people who:
- Have frontline sales or commercial experience.
- Are comfortable with numbers, pricing, and P&Ls.
- Know how to build lasting customer relationships.
- Bring energy, empathy, and a collaborative spirit.
- Are open to change and thrive in a fast‑moving environment.
- Hold a full UK driving licence.
- And ideally — love pubs as much as we do!
Benefits:
- Company Car (a full drivers licence is essential for this role).
- Annual bonus.
- Company funded Private Medical Healthcare.
- Double matched pension (up to 10%).
- 35 days holiday.
- A monthly case of our delicious ciders and beers!
- Development pathways and learning opportunities.
- Access to employee networks and inclusion groups.
