About the role
Reporting into the Off Trade Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will be to partner with colleagues across Front Line Sales and Finance to provide first‑class business partnering, performance management, planning and value‑added insight. You’ll lead the planning processes for the Off Trade, build and review the financial forecast based on the sales forecast, and be responsible for delivery of the monthly governance cycle, safeguarding performance against our key revenue objectives. You’ll support customer JVCA conversations to optimise investment while partnering and challenging stakeholders to support commercial decision‑making. The finance controller will have line‑management responsibility for one finance analyst, coaching and ongoing development.
Who we’re looking for
- As a qualified accountant you will have 5+ years’ experience in finance, evidence of influencing decisions that improved business results, commercial awareness, and strong technical finance controlling skills.
- Ability to build solid relationships and influence stakeholders.
- Proactive and positive attitude.
- Can navigate robustly through a fluid and fast‑moving commercial environment.
- Keen interest in the Off‑Trade and a desire to learn more.
