Finance Analyst – Record to Report – HEINEKEN
Function: Finance – Reporting & Accounting (\"R&A\")
Location: Edinburgh (St Andrew’s Square), hybrid home & office working
Salary: £35,000 – £42,000 base (plus benefits)
Contract: Permanent

We’re looking for an accounting professional (new graduate or part‑qualified accountant) to join our Reporting and Accounting team in Edinburgh. The role involves helping add value through review, challenge, analysis and financial control while acting as key point of contact for colleagues in our shared service centre in Krakow.
Key Responsibilities
- Support period‑end close activities and external audit
- Manage legal entity reporting and financial controls
- Coordinate accounting processes with the Heineken European shared service centre (Krakow)
- Business partner with Commercial Finance, Supply Chain Finance, Legal, Process Control and Improvement, Internal Audit, Digital and Technology
- Collaborate with external auditors during audit cycles
- Assist with the ERP system transition to ensure data integrity and migration readiness
Qualifications
- Accountant experience (internal & external financial reporting)
- Experience with period‑end close and balance sheet reconciliation
- Knowledge of IFRS or UK GAAP/FRS 101
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, large data manipulation)
- Analytical mindset, process improvement orientation
Desirable Skills
- ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Business Central, etc.)
- Experience in a prior system migration, implementation or upgrade
- Experience in FMCG or a large organisation
