Day Technician – Bottling

Salary:£45,159 plus £3,372 shift pay with benefits listed below.

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday, 6.30am – 7pm/8pm.

Function: Brewery Operations

Location: Tadcaster Brewery

About the role

We are looking for a Day Shift Engineering Technician to work in our Bottling line. At a very high level, our Engineering Technician\’s perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) schedule within the packaging area. You will reduce machine downtime in a cost-effective manner and eliminate root cause through eradication of failure mode with the application of good problem-solving skills; basing decisions making on data and trend analysis and interpretation at an asset level

What we\’re looking for

On top of being passionate about your job and able to work in a fast – paced environment, you’ll ideally have the following:

  • Necessary trade qualifications (NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or HNC or CITB Apprenticeshipat the equivalent level)
  • Previous experience working in a similar highly – automated and safety critical manufacturing site
  • Previous experience in planned maintenance techniques and Computerised Maintenance Management systems,
  • A continuous improvement mindset
  • Confidence and ability to work autonomously
