About the role Reporting into the Customer Development Director, this role works closely with team members and key stakeholders to support the achievement of our value share objective by driving brand penetration, visibility and quality across a range of indirect channels. The core of the role focuses on driving incremental net distribution by retaining the current distribution footprint and unlocking incremental opportunities, ensuring the right brands are distributed in the right outlets. The Customer Development Executive will activate key brand platforms, campaigns and events across relevant outlets in the patch. You’ll work closely with our national and indirect team to deliver tactical activity in accounts and execute new opportunities. You’ll need to develop and maintain a high profile within the geography by building a strong network of customers and contacts with regular meetings to build a pipeline of new opportunities. So, what will you be doing? Here’s some of the key accountabilities; Implement the brand penetration, visibility and quality objectives set by the On-Trade Leadership Team Work with our National and Indirect team to deliver tactical activity in accounts, working in an agile way to adapt to new opportunities. Prioritising calls to strategically important accounts, spending time where maximum impact can be gained. Sell the brand propositions to outlet decision makers with passion – ensuring alignment with outlet type and brand positioning. Identify appropriate outlets for marketing activity and deliver brilliant execution of promotional campaigns. We sponsor some fantastic events that you may have heard of, such as Champions League, Rugby’s Champion’s Cup, UEFA Women’s Euros and The F1. Plenty to get involved in! Who we’re looking for This role is fast paced and requires flexibility in its approach. You’ll need to adapt your selling style and tools according to the customer and channel. This can be done by building quick, quality relationships with customers. We need someone with a real passion for brands, able to discuss our portfolio with the enthusiasm it deserves. If you have; Brand selling experience Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to get on with people from all walks of life Commercial acumen and negotiating skills Experience in pubs and beer isn’t essential for this role and we actively encourage people with a passion for sales in any industry to submit an application!
