About The Role
Credit Control is more than simply collecting payments. Building strong relationships with customers and colleagues to keep pubs open and trading is essential to the success of Star Pubs. The Credit Risk Controllers are each aligned to a regional area of the UK and build strong ongoing relationships with our leased pub operators. Roll up responsibilities include collecting payments for drinks orders and rent, agreeing and monitoring repayment plans for debt, and ensuring that the right commercial decisions are taken to keep our pubs trading while minimising credit risk, always ensuring compliance with Credit Policy and Pubs Code.
This is a busy, interesting and varied role at the heart of our business. You will have lots of support and ongoing training, plus regular feedback in monthly 1‑to‑1s with your manager. Your ideas for process improvement are welcome and there are opportunities for career development.
