Overview

HEINEKEN is looking for a dedicated Business Development Manager to manage around 35 pubs within the Staffordshire region. You will work with a supported team to build strong relationships with operators and lessees and deliver a first-class retail experience while ensuring the profitability and growth of the pubs in your portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of pubs in the Staffordshire region with a dedicated support team.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with operators and lessees; drive customer experience and commercial results.
  • Own the P&L for each pub in your portfolio, drive financial performance, manage costs, and optimise revenue streams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Pub Operations, Estates Managers, Property Team) to create and execute tailored business plans for each pub.
  • Recruit new lessees and drive letting of pubs; review commercial terms; roll out brand and marketing initiatives.
  • Design and implement innovative retail solutions to enhance the customer journey and profitability.
  • Balance commercial delivery with long-term partnerships and strategic thinking.

What you’ll bring

  • Proven track record in retail, hospitality, or business development.
  • Experience with P&L management and driving financial performance.
  • Collaborative mindset with ability to work across functions.
