- To prepare and deliver quality lessons for a timetable agreed with the Head of Department.
- To fulfil teacher standards and carry out statutory duties required by a teacher.
- To undergo in-service training to keep abreast of developments in school and nationally.
- To assess and mark pupils' work regularly and provide accurate reports as scheduled in the School Calendar.
- To follow the school's and department's policies and Key Procedures.
- To attend school and department briefing.
- To attend parents evenings as scheduled in the School Calendar.
- To carry out the duties of a pastoral tutor (or attached member of staff) within a Year Team.
- To be responsible for the environment of a classroom including good display.
