About the Role
We are recruiting a Nurse / Deputy Manager to join a well‑established and supportive care home in Harrogate. This role is ideal for an experienced nurse who enjoys a balance of clinical work and leadership responsibilities. Working closely with the Home Manager, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care while leading, mentoring, and developing the nursing and care teams.
Working Pattern
- 40 - hours per week on day
- Supernumerary shifts (2) - 8 hour days
- Clinical shifts (x2) - 12 hour days
- On‑calls

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and promote high standards of person‑centred care
- Write, implement, and review individualised care plans
- Maintain accurate resident records in line with NMC, GDPR, and company policies
- Lead, supervise, and support nursing and care staff
- Carry out staff supervisions and appraisals
- Ensure safe and accurate administration of medication
- Promote residents' wellbeing and encourage participation in activities
- Liaise effectively with external multidisciplinary teams
About You
- Registered Nurse (RMN preferred, RGN considered) with a valid NMC PIN
- Experience in a senior nursing or leadership role within a care setting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Passionate about delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care
- Proactive, supportive, and professional approach
