About the Role
As Clinical Lead, you will support the Home Manager in delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care and ensuring the smooth running of clinical operations. You will lead from the front, providing guidance to the nursing and care team while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Home Manager in maintaining high clinical standards and regulatory compliance
- Provide strong, hands‑on leadership to nursing and care teams
- Mentor and develop staff to drive continuous improvement
- Oversee medication management, wound care, and clinical assessments
- Ensure accurate and compliant care documentation
- Maintain compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding, audits, and governance protocols
- Contribute to the overall operational effectiveness of the home
Skills & Qualifications
- NMC Registered Nurse (RGN / RMN / RNLD)
- Previous leadership experience within a care home setting
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations, safeguarding, audits, and DOLS
- Competent in wound care, medication administration, and clinical assessments
- Confident leadership and mentoring abilities
- Strong organisational and IT skills
