We are recruiting an experienced Nursing Home Manager to join a well-established, supportive care home in Bournemouth. This is a senior clinical leadership role for a registered nurse who is confident balancing hands-on clinical practice with operational and managerial responsibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver and promote high standards of person-centred care
  • Lead clinical practice and act as a role model for nursing and care teams
  • Complete clinical audits, safeguarding processes, and CQC notifications
  • Support regulatory compliance and quality governance
  • Manage agency usage and staffing coordination
  • Lead and support recruitment and onboarding
  • Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and performance management
  • Ensure training compliance across the service
  • Carry out assessments, show rounds, and admissions
  • Oversee care plans and risk assessments (writing, reviewing, managing)
  • Ensure safe and effective medication management
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with NMC, GDPR, and company policies
  • Liaise with external professionals and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support operational management alongside the Home Manager
  • Promote resident wellbeing and engagement in activities
