We are currently hiring friendly, reliable Front of House team members to join our studios in Manchester and Altrincham. This is a customer-facing role, perfect for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience and working in a fast-paced environment.
About us
The Health Lab is a boutique Pilates studio with locations in Manchester and Altrincham, offering Reformer Pilates, Infrared Reformer Pilates, Infrared Mat Pilates, Barre, and mindful movement classes. We’re a community-driven, woman-owned business focused on creating a welcoming, inclusive space where every guest feels supported from the moment they walk through the door.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming guests, checking them into classes, and showing them around the studio
- Answering customer enquiries via phone, email, and social media
- Handling customer cancellations and processing no-show fees
- Processing payments, including add-ons, socks, and merchandise
- Preparing drinks and some food items before and after classes
- Maintaining studio cleanliness standards, including resetting rooms after classes
- General administrative tasks
- Opening and closing the studio
Essentials
- Experience in a customer-facing role
- Availability to work evenings and weekends
- Must be available for early starts and able to reliably commute to the studio
Desirable Experience
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment
- Barista training
Hours & Contract
- Multiple contract options available, ranging from 8–35+ hours per week
- Shifts available Monday–Sunday
- Paid at National Minimum Wage, paid monthly
- Holiday entitlement accrued based on hours worked
