Job Description
Senior Principal Designer required to join an independent construction and property consultancy that delivers Cost Management, Project Management and Specialist Consultancy services.\\nRole\\nWorking as a technical lead delivering high quality services for projects from c£500k to £500m across broad ranging sectors, blue chip clients and public sector across design and build, engineering and infrastructure projects.\\nResponsibility for growing workload regarding bidding and proposal writing.\\nWorking across all sectors as opportunities arise.\\nBeing responsible for the management and delivery of key client accounts.\\nProviding project technical leadership and quality assurance for CDM roles and Principal Designer services.\\nEnsuring projects comply with CDM 2015.\\nDeveloping risk responses and plans to eliminate the risks on projects.\\nCo-ordinating and attending meetings as required throughout projects.\\nNear miss and accident investigation where required.\\nReviewing Construction Phase Plans.\\nPreparing and producing Pre-Construction Information.\\nKeeping up to date with new legislation and maintaining a working knowledge of all Health and Safety legislation.\\nSupporting the next generation of leaders.\\nThe role offers hybrid working with a connection to the London office\\nQualifications\\nDegree qualified in a design or construction management related role is essential.\\nPrevious experience in a construction related role, e.g. engineer, architect is essential.\\nProficient in using standard Microsoft Office applications and experienced with BIM would be beneficial.\\nOther vocational and related qualifications are beneficial.\\nPreferred- CMaPS status and Chartered Membership of a relevant body i.e. MCIOB RIBA\\nExperience\\nc10 years’ experience in delivering Principal Designer and Client CDM Advisor services in compliance with the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015\\nExperience in leading projects of varying sizes and complexity.\\nExperience working in a client focused environment.\\nThe company are offering c£70-90k plus benefits.
