A leading multi-national Hard/Technical Facilities Management company is looking to appoint a Safety Health Environmental Quality Manager, with a strong focus on Health & Safety, to support its growing operations and project portfolio across the North West region. The company delivers a broad range of energy, engineering and technical facilities management services and has an excellent reputation for increasing the use of low-carbon energy and delivering innovative, groundbreaking energy solutions. SHEQ Manager duties will include: * Providing Health and Safety advice and guidance to the Operation and Projects Team. * Ensuring project based CDM deliverables are met. * Improving Health and Safety standards. * Completing monthly Health and Safety data reports. * Keeping up to date with legislation and Company standards. * Developing and managing risk assessments, audits and Inspections and ensuring all actions are followed through to completion. * Maintaining Health and Safety records. * Delivering Health and Safety Induction programmes and training. Experience * Previous experience working in a Health & Safety role at Manager level. * Experience within construction, energy, engineering, facilities management or Mechanical & Electrical projects would be ideal. * Knowledge and practical experience of project-based CDM requirements. * Experience undertaking risk assessments, audits, inspections and investigations. * Strong communication skills - ability to advise, guide and support colleagues on industry best practise. * A proactive approach to improving Health & Safety standards and developing a positive Health & Safety culture. Qualifications * NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction Certificate as a minimum. * You may hold or be working towards attaining the NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent. * Ideally or working towards or holding GradIOSH status. * CDM training would be beneficial. * Additional Health & Safety, auditing or technical qualifications would be advantageous
