Associate CDM/Principal Designer required to join a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy. You will work to provide solutions to meet clients’ health and safety objectives, aims and aspirations. You will have opportunities to work on a wide variety of projects in the commercial, education, hotel, leisure, residential, retail, science sectors and more.
Duties include:
- Working closely with the project team to deliver Principal Designer services ensuring compliance with CDM regulations.
- Managing the pre-construction phase, including preparing and collating information.
- Leading CDM Workshops.
- Liaising with stakeholders on projects and keeping them updated in relation to Health, Safety and CDM matters.
- Carrying out site inspections and compliance audits.
- Preparing, reviewing and maintaining Health and Safety files.
- Developing client relationships and building new ones.
- With support, contribute to and develop bid submissions and fee proposals.
- Identifying regional business development opportunities generally and assisting with the growth of Client base.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH Construction Certificate or similar technical or professional qualification.
- You will ideally hold or be working towards CMaPS and possibly CMIOSH Accreditation.
