Job Description
Health, Safety and CDM Consultant required to join a well-established construction consultancy. The role offers hybrid working with a connection to their Manchester office. Projects and clients are based across the North West.\\n\\nYou will work closely with clients across a wide range of industry sectors including commercial, education, residential, retail and nuclear.
Both within public and private sectors, from SME’s to large blue-chip corporate clients.\\n\\nDuties:\\n\\nAct as Principal Designer/Principal Designer Advisor on varying scale projects.\\n\\nAct as Independent Client Advisor.\\n\\nConduct site health and safety audits.\\n\\nAdvise clients on project team capability and management arrangements.\\n\\nProvide health and safety advice, guidance, training and support across the client base.\\n\\nAssist in the completion of PQQ/tender documents.\\n\\nUndertake accident or other special investigations to assist the client as required.\\n\\nAssist with the administration of projects and build Health and Safety Files.\\n\\nQualifications\\n\\nMinimum of TechIOSH working towards or holding CertIOSH.\\n\\nIMaPS or CMaPS status beneficial.\\n\\nExperience\\n\\nDemonstrable experience providing client-side health and safety services within the construction or property industry preferred.\\n\\nThe company are also interested in applications from those who may have gained significant CDM knowledge working in a large contractor environment and are interested in transferring and developing this knowledge further.\\n\\nIt is not expected that you can currently fulfil all the duties listed above.\\n\\nThe company recognise the importance of flexible and agile working so welcome conversations on how this could work for you.\\n\\nThe role will pay £40k – £50k plus an excellent benefits package; car/allowance, pension, health, 28 days holiday plus bank holidays with the option to purchase up to an additional 5 days
