Health, Safety and CDM Advisor required to join a leading consultancy, specialising in CDM, health and safety, risk management and environmental services. They work with a wide range of clients across sectors including commercial, engineering, education, housing associations, health, leisure and public services. This role is based on-site, so you must live within a commutable distance of Barrow-in-Furness. You will be working on both new and existing buildings located at the shipyard.
Duties will include:
- Acting as CDM Advisor on a variety of construction projects.
- Ensuring compliance with CDM 2015 regulations from concept to completion.
- Preparing and reviewing pre-construction information and health and safety files.
- Advising clients, designers and contractors on their statutory duties under CDM.
- Carrying out site inspections and audits, providing practical, actionable feedback.
- Delivering training to client teams where required.
- Building strong, consultative relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- NEBOSH General and/or Construction Certificate or equivalent health & safety qualification.
- Membership of IOSH, or similar professional body (TechIOSH, GradIOSH, etc.).
Experience:
- Working knowledge and experience of CDM 2015 regulations.
- Experience in a consultancy, construction Health and Safety role.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
