Associate Director - Building Risk and Compliance is required to join a construction engineering company. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in delivering high-quality services in Building Regulations and Compliance. You will lead and manage local resources efficiently, ensuring projects meet the highest standards while driving operational excellence. This role offers the chance to make a tangible impact, work on complex and rewarding projects and develop your leadership within a respected and innovative team. This is a hybrid role, combining remote working with time spent in the company office. Candidates must therefore live within a commutable distance of one of the company offices, which are located across England.
Responsibilities:
- Managing Building Regulations and Compliance Consultancy Projects for Non HRB's.
- Contributing to the achievement of company-wide and regional financial objectives.
- Participating in interviews for new staff as appropriate.
- Supporting, supervising, training, and guiding teams.
- Undertaking staff appraisals.
- Responsibility for the operational control of the customer base of an allocated team.
- Developing business opportunities and marketing the services offered by the company.
- To maintain full knowledge of all relevant legislation and ensure procedures are updated accordingly.
- Managing and maintaining a portfolio of projects.
- Ensuring all new commissions and plans comply with Building Regulations and associated statutory legislation.
- Maintaining accurate records.
Qualifications:
- Full member of RICS or CABE or equivalent.
- CSCS Card.
Experience:
- 10 years' relevant experience.
- Managerial experience and experience undertaking building control on complex buildings.
The role offers a salary of £75k-£80k plus a 5% bonus, car allowance and more.
