A multi-disciplinary consultancy firm are seeking an experienced CDM Principal Designer who is keen to expand their skill set into the Building Regulations Principal Designer (BRPD) role.

Our client is offering structured training, ongoing development and mentoring, enabling you to confidently deliver both CDM PD and BRPD roles across a broad range of projects, primarily throughout London. This is an excellent opportunity for established CDM Principal Designers who want exposure to both safety and building regulations compliance.

The Role:

  • Delivering CDM Principal Designer duties across multiple projects.
  • Supporting the delivery of Building Regulations Principal Designer responsibilities with support, training and mentoring.
  • Working collaboratively with project teams to ensure compliance and safety.
  • Developing expertise in both CDM and Building Regulations through structured training.
  • Building long-term career progression within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent in construction, architecture, engineering, or a related discipline preferred.
  • Professional membership (e.g., IOSH, IIRSM, or similar).

Experience

  • Proven experience as a CDM Principal Designer.
  • Experience working across multiple construction projects.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload effectively.
  • Experience in building regulations or technical compliance is desirable but not essential.

The salary is £50k-£60k plus structured training and mentoring to develop into the BRPD role, pension and car allowance.
