Overview

Building Control Surveyor required to support the delivery of Building Regulations compliance across a wide range of sectors and projects. You/ll work closely with design teams to interpret regulatory requirements, develop compliance strategies, and contribute to quality assurance throughout design and construction phases. This role plays a key part in supporting project teams with practical, design-integrated compliance advice.

Responsibilities

  • Review technical drawings, specifications, and construction details for regulatory compliance.
  • Identify and help resolve potential compliance risks.
  • Contribute to internal guidance, templates, and best practice documentation.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and consultants to ensure coordinated compliance.

Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of UK Building Regulations and their practical application.
  • A background in architecture, building control, or technical design, supported by relevant qualifications.
  • Experience supporting design and delivery teams throughout project lifecycles.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the confidence across disciplines.
  • The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a national team.
