We are looking for an experienced manager to join our Registration Team and lead the International Applications team. The Registration Department provides services relating to people joining the HCPC Register and maintaining their registration with the HCPC. The department maintains the Register of over 330,000 health and care professionals across the United Kingdom. You will be expected to ensure that your team provides high quality services to those on our register or applying to join.
Your Role:
- Lead and manage a team of Registration Advisors, managing their performance, promoting development and ensuring that their performance data is accurately recorded.
- Ensure that all procedures are in line with our legislation and business targets.
- Contribute to major projects within the registration department and deliver strategies which will improve our service delivery.
- Recruit, train and manage the work of a large team of HCPC Partners, including Registration Assessors and CPD Assessors.
- Monitor how quality assurance processes are followed by your team and HCPC Partners.
- Be knowledgeable in all aspects of the registration process and the work of the organization.
What we’re looking for:
- Educated to a degree level or equivalent skills and knowledge, with a high level of proficiency in the English language.
- Knowledge of and experience in delivering results through a team working in a busy customer service environment.
- Familiarity with leading projects across teams and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Experience of complaints handling.
- Sound working knowledge of window-based software packages, including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, email and the internet.
- An understanding of CRM in a management capacity.
- Ability to develop and improve processes within an operational department.
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of working with Human Resources policies and procedures, including knowledge of recruiting employees, and identifying and developing talent and skills.
