We are looking for a Spa Therapist to join our spa team who really loves what they do; are full of energy and enthusiasm, have a genuine desire to deliver the very best experience for every guest, every time. Our Spa Therapists are responsible for carrying out treatments for hotel guests, members and visitors ensuring a flawless experience is delivered every time. We pride ourselves on the guest’s journey from welcoming the guest, to delivering amazing treatments and showing our guests our wonderful Spa facilities.
Our fabulous team are important to us. Which is why we limit your massage hours. We also offer use of the facilities including the gym, the thermal journey, and the Aqua Club for you to relax and enjoy the beautiful spa for yourself.
For our Spa Therapist role you must hold a Level 2 & 3 Beauty and Spa Therapy diploma (NVQ). The Headland Hotel and Spa is a 5-star destination hotel and the ONLY Spa in the Southwest with the Luxury 5 Bubble rating from the Good Spa Guide. Awarded Coastal Spa of the year 2021 and home to the Aqua Club, the only bespoke built swimming facility overlooking the dramatic Atlantic Coast line. The Spa has 6 treatment rooms including 2 couples treatment rooms, a beautiful relaxation room, a mosaic mud rhassoul treatment room, Hydrotherapy pool, sauna, steam room and tepidarium beds and experience showers.
This position would be perfect for qualified therapists wanting to enhance and progress their experience of working in a 5* Spa. You will have a thorough knowledge of massage techniques and possess a general understanding of body and facial treatments. You will have a genuine passion for what you do and always go above and beyond. Experience working with our current product houses (Elemis and Seabody) is desirable however full training will be provided.
This is a permanent, full-time position based on a 40-hour working week over 5 days including weekends and bank holidays. The rate of pay is £13.56 per hour plus a 1% commission on all treatments carried out. You will also receive 10% commission on all retail sales you make and a share of the gratuities received across the hotel. In line with UK Immigration and Employment Law, only applicants eligible to live and work in the UK need apply. We can also accept applications from candidates that hold a 'skilled worker' visa. Proof of ID will be required in the form of a Passport, National Identity Card or Birth Certificate.
