We are searching for an attentive laundry attendant to support the housekeeping team to maintain excellent standards in the laundry department to ensure 5* guest satisfaction. The laundry attendant's responsibilities include cleaning, pressing, and folding linen and other textile articles.
To be successful as a laundry attendant, you should demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Laundry Attendant Responsibilities:- Sorting, washing, drying, pressing, and folding linen and other textile items.
- Removing stains from items using the appropriate procedures.
- Tracking which item stock based on demand.
- Tracking maintenance and repairs on laundering equipment.
- Ensuring that the facility remains clean at all times.
- Anticipating and responding to the wider team's requests and requirements.
This position is offered on a zero hour contract; however, the role requires flexibility as the hours that are available will include working weekends and additional hours during our busiest times. In line with UK Immigration and Employment Law, only applicants eligible to live and work in the UK need apply. Proof of ID will be required in the form of a Passport, National Identity Card or Birth Certificate.
