Are you passionate about creating beautifully crafted drinks, providing elevated hospitality and offering exceptional service? We're looking for a talented Bar Tender to join our team at The Headland.
Key responsibilities of the Bar Tender will include:
- Warmly welcoming guests ensuring that your voice, manner and behaviour portrays a warm, welcoming and friendly demeanour at all times
- Provide prompt and professional Food & Beverage service at all times
- Be familiar with Service Standards and monitoring adherence to these
- Deliver beautiful cocktails, consistently made to specification
- Supporting the team in a hands on approach in setting up & clearing tables
- To ensure that bar service areas are maintained to an acceptable level of cleanliness and hygiene, and the cleaning schedules are adhered to on a daily basis
The ideal candidate for the Bar Tender position should:
- Have previous/current experience within a similar role, working behind a bar
- Have a strong foundation on the 'art of mixology' and classic cocktails
- Have a good product knowledge in all aspects of beverage (i.e. wines, spirits, beer, etc)
- Have excellent communication skills
- Have a friendly, bubbly, flexible attitude and have an infectious drive to be creative
- Have the ability to handle busy situations and manage workload effectively
Salary and Contract: This position is offered as a permanent, full time contract, working 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7. This role requires flexibility as the hours that are available will include working evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
