We’re looking for an Assistant Executive Head Housekeeper who brings care, pride and purpose to everything they do and believes that true luxury lies in elevated and effortless hospitality. This role is about much more than maintaining our beautiful spaces; it’s about honouring The Headland’s heritage, creating a sense of warmth for our guests and colleagues alike and ensuring exceptional and consistent service is delivered across the department.

Working closely with the Executive Head Housekeeper, a key part of this role is to nurture and develop your team by providing clear direction, ongoing support and opportunities for growth while ensuring high standards of performance and collaboration are met.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Ensuring maximum guest satisfaction in all areas of Housekeeping.
  • You will oversee the full lifecycle of our team members, including recruitment, probation reviews and regular check-in meetings.
  • Support the Executive Head Housekeeper in creating and managing team rotas, ensuring they are fair and consistent for all staff members.
  • Address any queries promptly in the Executive Head Housekeeper's absence and ensure all issues are resolved effectively.
  • Manage the HR EPS system, ensuring that team rotas are signed off within the required timeframes for payroll processing.
  • Maintain all agreed cleaning standards.
  • Support with ordering alongside The Executive Head Housekeeper.
