The Role
We have recently secured the supply agreement for a world leading range of newly developed innovative products. We are looking to appoint a commercially astute Business Development Manager to drive early commercial traction. This is a rare chance to join from the outset and help shape and grow a new enterprise.
This role suits an experienced B2B business development professional who thrives on autonomy and accountability in unstructured settings. The ideal candidate is confident in selling new propositions, comfortable driving momentum from scratch, and motivated by opportunity and impact. Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship skills are essential.
Working with the executive team, the successful candidate will identify, develop, and convert opportunities, proactively engage target markets, and build a strong pipeline. They will manage the sales process from first contact to close, building long-term, trusted relationships with key decision-makers and partners. A strong commercial mindset is essential, as is the ability to provide market insights to inform strategy and growth.
You will take an open-minded and reflective approach and possess a willingness to take on opportunities when required. You will also be hardworking, able to analyse data, have a good attention to detail with the ability to communicate well with others. As someone who can be flexible responding to changing work environments when needed you also plan your own workload to ensure you achieve the goals you have agreed.

You will report directly to the Managing Director. You will be supported and encouraged by the senior team members within the Group. Our group companies are committed to train and develop all team members offering internal and external programs. We take a longer term view of our businesses and while you will need to have an impact, we are looking for someone who wants to continue to be part of a business as it grows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Business Development, Relationship Management, and Strategic Planning
- Strong Market Research, Analysis, and Problem-Solving skills
- Effective Communication, Negotiation, and Interpersonal skills
- Understanding of Financial Analysis and Budget Planning for business growth
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects simultaneously in a remote work environment
- Experience in working with technical products
- Must have clean driving license and the right to work in the UK.
