The Role

As Chair of Governors, you will play a crucial role in shaping the strategic direction of the school, working in partnership with the principal and local governing body to ensure the best possible outcomes for our students. This involves:

  • Leading and motivating the governing board.
  • Setting the strategic vision and aims of the school in the context of the trust’s strategic plan.
  • Monitoring the school’s performance and progress.
  • Ensuring the school meets its statutory safeguarding and health and safety responsibilities.
  • Ensuring accountability and effective use of resources.
  • Representing the school within the community.

What We Are Looking For

We are seeking a dynamic individual with:
