The Role
This is a varied, hands‑on front of house role supporting both our restaurant service and private function events. You’ll be part of a close‑knit team delivering excellent hospitality while helping ensure the venue runs smoothly day to day. Whether you’re serving guests in the restaurant, setting up for a private function, or helping close down after service, you’ll play an important part in creating a warm and memorable guest experience.
Potential Typical Shift Pattern Hours: 30 - 35 hours per week
- Wednesday: 5:00pm – 10:30pm
- Thursday: 12:00pm – 5:30pm
- Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm or 12:00pm – 10:00pm depending on business needs and functions
- Saturday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
- Sunday: 11:00am – 5:30pm

What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering friendly, attentive service to guests in both the restaurant and function room
- Supporting the setup, running and reset of private events and bookings
- Preparing drinks and assisting with food service in line with food safety standards
- Answering phone enquiries and supporting reservations and guest bookings
- Receiving deliveries, rotating stock and completing daily temperature checks
- Keeping front of house areas clean, organised and welcoming at all times
- Assisting with end‑of‑day duties including cleaning, waste logs, cashing up and lock up
What We’re Looking For
- A warm, positive and guest‑focused attitude
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with people
- Someone reliable, organised and happy working in a busy hospitality environment
- A team player who enjoys varied shifts and supporting events/functions
- Previous hospitality experience is helpful, but not essential — full training will be provided
