The Role

This is a varied, hands-on front of house role supporting both our restaurant service and private function events. You’ll be part of a close-knit team delivering excellent hospitality while helping ensure the venue runs smoothly day to day. Whether you’re serving guests in the restaurant, setting up for a private function, or helping close down after service, you’ll play an important part in creating a warm and memorable guest experience.

Potential Typical Shift Pattern Hours: 30 - 35 hours per week

  • Wednesday: 5:00pm – 10:30pm
  • Thursday: 12:00pm – 5:30pm
  • Friday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm or 12:00pm – 10:00pm depending on business needs and functions
  • Saturday: 12:00pm – 6:00pm
  • Sunday: 11:00am – 5:30pm

Please note: shift times may vary slightly depending on events, functions and seasonal trade.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Delivering friendly, attentive service to guests in both the restaurant and function room
  • Supporting the setup, running and reset of private events and bookings
  • Preparing drinks and assisting with food service in line with food safety standards
  • Answering phone enquiries and supporting reservations and guest bookings
  • Receiving deliveries, rotating stock and completing daily temperature checks
  • Keeping front of house areas clean, organised and welcoming at all times
  • Assisting with end-of-day duties including cleaning, waste logs, cashing up and lock up

What We’re Looking For

  • A warm, positive and guest-focused attitude
  • Strong communication skills and confidence working with people
  • Someone reliable, organised and happy working in a busy hospitality environment
  • A team player who enjoys varied shifts and supporting events/functions
  • Previous hospitality experience is helpful, but not essential — full training will be provided
