As a Teacher of Maths at The Hart School you will bring yourpassion for numeracy to life in the classroom. Our ideal candidate would:
- HoldQualified Teacher Status with a degree in a related discipline
- Haveexperience of teaching Maths at Key Stage 3, 4 and desirably 5
- Havea genuine passion for and a belief in the potential of every student
- Havethe ability to think strategically about classroom practice and tailoringlessons to students needs
- Sethigh expectations and be a positive role model – consistentlydemonstrating the positive attitudes, values and behaviours which weexpect of pupils.
About the Maths Team:
The Maths department teaches coursesacross Key Stages 3, 4 and 5, and comprises of 9 teachers who are subjectspecialists. It is a very well led and committed team, with excellent schemesof learning and good assessment practice. The Maths faculty is aforward-thinking department that offers a great environment to thriveprofessionally.
