Location: The Harley Street Clinic, London, United Kingdom. The post holder will rotate across the Harley Street Campus and The Princess Grace Hospital.
Job Type: Full‑time, 37.5 hours per week plus rotational on‑call. Shifts: Monday‑Friday 8:00‑20:00, with additional weekday and weekend on‑call.

About the role: As a Senior Staff Nurse within the imaging department you will report to the Duty Clinical Lead Nurse/Manager and provide a customer‑focused and high‑quality nursing service. The role will require rotation across all imaging modalities (IR, CT, MRI and Core Services) and all imaging sites, with primary base at the Harley Street Clinic.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide a professional standard of excellence in nursing service for all patients.
- Competent in all areas of imaging nursing, including one‑stop breast clinic, imaging‑guided drainages, biopsies, Interventional Radiology cases and therapeutic procedures.
- Share clinical knowledge with multidisciplinary colleagues, formally through CPD sessions and clinical competency forms and informally through adhoc teaching or training opportunities.
- Participate in mandatory training related to safeguarding vulnerable adults and children and ensure compliance in escalation of any safeguarding concerns.
- Assist the Reservations/IR Coordinator and radiographers with the booking of immediate appointments.
- Build an effective working relationship with consultants, radiographers and administrative staff across the department and the wider hospital.
What You’ll Bring
- Hold a BSc (or equivalent) in Nursing and current UK NMC registration meeting PREP requirement.
- Experience in Imaging/Interventional Radiology (IR) is essential.
- Demonstrated commitment to imaging nursing through CPD/protocol development within a radiology area.
- Portfolio of relevant CPD.
- Post‑graduate qualification within imaging or another relevant area.
- Ability to use initiative and work as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and on‑call to cover emergency service.
- Ability to work under pressure and be reliable.
- Strong organisational skills across many modalities.
