Location: The Harley Street Clinic & Leaders in Oncology Care, Central London

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with contribution to weekend shifts on rota basis

Contract Type: Permanent

Overview: We’re looking for a Senior Medicines Management Pharmacy Technician to join our team at our Harley Street Clinic & Leaders in Oncology Care sites currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC. Based in London’s medical district, our hospital is accessible and is considered an employer of choice. Our pharmacy team delivers an exceptional patient-centred service across our world-renowned campus that houses several centres of excellence from Complex Oncology to Cardiac to Diagnostics.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Lead for Medicines Management & Patient Services and the Lead Pharmacist(s) for Haematology & Oncology in running a technician-based medicines optimisation/management service and maintaining the SACT e-Prescribing portfolio.
  • Day-to-day responsibility for various elements within medicines management/optimisation.
  • Support with training and development of trainee technicians/pharmacy assistants.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technician with GPhC
  • Accredited Checking Technician (essential)
  • Knowledge of Medicines Management
  • Prior experience working in a hospital pharmacy (essential)
