sk:n Clinics is a leading UK skin clinic specialising in advanced aesthetic and medical skin care treatments. Our expert clinicians combine cutting‑edge technology with personalised care to help you achieve healthy, radiant skin and lasting confidence. We are now seeking to recruit an experienced Trainer who will be responsible for delivering exceptional training and education across sk:n clinics nationwide.

Role Purpose

To ensure all new and existing team members are trained to the highest clinical, operational, and brand standards, supporting consistency, compliance, patient safety and commercial performance across the business. The successful candidate will act as a key brand ambassador, driving excellence in onboarding, advanced treatment education, clinical competency, and ongoing development within the clinics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Training & Onboarding
    • Deliver all in‑person onboarding and induction training for new starters across the SKN network.
    • Create a welcoming, engaging, and structured onboarding experience that supports confidence and competence from day one.
    • Ensure all team members complete training pathways within agreed timelines.
    • Assess competency and sign‑off practical skills where appropriate.
    • Support clinic teams during new clinic openings or launches.
  • Clinical & Treatment Training
    • Deliver practical and theoretical training in:
    • Laser Hair Removal
    • Advanced Skin Treatments
    • HydraFacial
    • Potenza
    • Tattoo Removal
    • Consultation skills and patient journey standards
    • Treatment protocols and best practice standards
  • Ensure all training aligns with:
  • Manufacturer guidelines
  • Clinical governance requirements
  • Company SOPs
  • Health & safety standards

Compliance & Clinical Governance

  • Ensure all training is compliant with regulatory and company requirements.
  • Maintain accurate training records, competency sign‑offs, and attendance documentation.
  • Support audit preparation and clinic compliance standards.
  • Promote safe practice, infection control, consent standards, and patient safety culture.
  • Work closely with Operations and Clinical teams to identify development needs and risks.

Skills & Experience Required

Essential

  • Beauty Therapy qualification at the highest level (Level 4 or equivalent/above preferred).
  • Strong experience in aesthetic and advanced skin treatments.
  • Qualified and experienced in:
  • Laser Hair Removal
  • HydraFacial
  • Potenza
  • Tattoo Removal
  • Advanced skin care treatments
  • Previous experience delivering training, coaching, or mentoring within a clinical or aesthetic environment.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning ability.
  • Confident delivering both practical and classroom‑based education.
  • Ability to travel nationally on a regular basis.

Desirable

  • Teaching or assessor qualification.
  • Experience working within a multi‑site aesthetic or medical environment.
  • Knowledge of CQC and compliance standards.
  • Experienced in developing training material and competency frameworks.
