Salary – Support Staff, Pay Point 3, £10,814 actual pa (£24,796 FTE).

Fixed Term until 31 August 2027.

Part Time, 17.5 hours per week, Term Time plus 4 weeks.

This is an exciting opportunity for the right person to join our cleaning team at The Harleston Sancroft Academy, supporting us to deliver the very best outcomes for our community. The role of a cleaner is both key to the successful operation of the school and also a potential stepping stone into a career in education; we have been delighted to see some of our cleaners go onto roles as Midday Supervisors, Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants at Sancroft.

Responsibilities:

  • Be committed to the highest standards of site maintenance, health and safety.

Working hours:

The successful candidate will work Monday-Friday, 6-8am, Monday and Tuesday 4-6pm and alternate Fridays 4-6pm.

Qualifications and requirements:

All appointments will be subject to full safeguarding checks as well as satisfactory references. This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check. This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent English is an essential requirement for this role.
