We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to provide both small group and individual support to students; these students will have a range of additional and special educational needs and disabilities. You would be supporting students in lessons and within our SEND department.
We are looking for an individual who has the vision, enthusiasm and resilience to support vulnerable students in overcoming their barriers to learning. If you are reliable, tenacious and enthusiastic, a good communicator, and can demonstrate that you have the relevant skills, training or experience to make a positive difference to the lives of our secondary aged students, we would welcome an application from you.
In addition to supporting students, the roles involve some clerical support for the department and lunch and break-time supervision. Previous experience of working with students, preferably in an educational setting, is essential.
This is a part-time, permanent position working 28 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
