Salary: NJC Grade B: £25,185 - £25,583 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a permanent position working 6 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

Newport Community Primary Academy is seeking to recruit a caring, enthusiastic and motivated Playworker to support the afterschool club for our children.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Supervising children during afterschool club under the direction of the play leader
  • Encouraging healthy eating and positive social interaction.
  • Ensuring the play spaces remain clean and safe.
  • Promoting good behaviour and a caring atmosphere.
  • Supporting children to complete their homework.

Full training will be provided including paediatric first aid.
