Working pattern: These are permanent positions working a total of 34.75 hours per week, 19.125 hours per week grade C TA (3.5 hours of which will be worked in the After School Club), 15.625 HLTA, 39 weeks per year.
Bratton Fleming Community Primary School are seeking a dedicated and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) and Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting teaching, learning and pupil development across the school.
About the Role
As HLTA working under an agreed system of supervision, you will:
- Plan, prepare and deliver learning activities to individuals, groups and whole classes.
- Support teachers by helping create an engaging learning environment and preparing resources.
- Monitor, assess and record pupils’ progress, providing detailed feedback and evidence.
- Lead small-group interventions and support delivery of literacy, numeracy and other curriculum strategies.
- Contribute to out-of-school learning activities as required.
As TA, your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting pupils’ welfare and personal care, including those with SEND.
- Implementing literacy and numeracy interventions.
- Assisting with planning cycles and preparing learning resources.
- Promoting positive behaviour and encouraging pupil independence.
- Assisting with supervision during break/lunchtimes and accompanying pupils on trips when required.
