We are delighted to be hiring for enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Staff to join our friendly team here at The Hand and Flowers in Marlow. At The Hand and Flowers, we are looking for professional and enthusiastic waiting staff to join our merry band of pirates. A smile and a can‑do attitude go a long way, the rest we can teach. You will be able to ensure all our guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until their departure.

Your responsibilities will include managing guest interactions and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere in our 2 Michelin Star pub.

Waiting Staff Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
  • Follow all procedures, maintaining our high standards.
  • Ensuring all areas are kept clean and tidy to promote a safe working environment at all times.
  • Co‑operate with all staff and management to provide a smooth and efficient service.
  • Attend and participate in briefings and other meetings as scheduled.

Waiting Staff Requirements

  • Must have a “can do attitude,” be able to multi‑task and be well presented.
  • Be punctual, focused, well organised, reliable and have a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work a variety of shifts.

  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and high‑quality food delivery.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks effectively in a fast‑paced setting.
  • Knowledge of culinary practices and food safety regulations is an advantage.
