The Hampstead Garden Suburb Trust protects, maintains and enhances the unique character of Hampstead Garden Suburb - an internationally important example of early 20th-century town planning and architecture. We are seeking an Architectural Support Officer to join our architectural team. This is a key operational role, administering applications for alterations to properties, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring processes run efficiently. It combines administration, public-facing work and exposure to architecture, heritage and the built environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Administer applications for Trust consent from submission through to decision
  • Act as a first point of contact for applicants, architects and agents
  • Support the architectural team with application reviews and research
  • Maintain accurate records and track applications through each stage
  • Prepare decision letters, committee papers and minutes
  • Manage consultation processes and application fees
  • Respond to enquiries and support the wider work of the office

What we are looking for
