The Halston is an independent, design-led hotel in Carlisle with a strong reputation and a loyal following. We are looking for an experienced and hands-on hospitality leader to take ownership of our restaurant and bar operation.
The Role
This is a senior, operational role with responsibility for Penny Blue Restaurant and Bar, alongside Bartons Yard Café Bar. You will lead the front of house management structure across both outlets, including managers and supervisors, driving standards, performance and team development. Working closely with our Executive Head Chef, you will support the overall leadership of the Food and Beverage operation, ensuring a consistent and joined-up approach across both front and back of house. This role is focused on Food and Beverage, with responsibility for our flagship restaurant and café. Our events operation is managed separately by a dedicated Events Manager and team. You will report into the Executive Head Chef, with regular interaction and visibility with the Managing Director. As part of the senior management team, you will contribute to the wider business and play an active role in driving performance.
