Are you passionate about quality, food safety, and building strong supplier relationships? Join us as a Supplier Assurance Technologist and play a vital role in ensuring our ingredients, packaging, and products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
About The Role
As a Supplier Assurance Technologist, you'll support the assessment, approval, and ongoing monitoring of raw materials, packaging, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and 3PL sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all materials and partnerships meet our rigorous technical and legal standards.
- Approve and monitor raw materials, packaging, and contract manufactured goods
- Manage supplier assessments, including audits and visits
- Ensure compliance with food safety and legal standards (HACCP, TACCP, VACCP)
- Analyse microbiological data and support specification management
- Handle supplier non-conformance and drive continuous improvement
- Support internal and external audits and certification processes
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and co-manufacturers
Experience & Qualifications
- Background in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field (degree preferred but not essential)
- Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in food or drink manufacturing
- Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and relevant food safety regulations
- Experience with GFSI schemes and retailer Codes of Practice
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation
