About The Role

As a Supplier Assurance Technologist, you'll support the assessment, approval, and ongoing monitoring of raw materials, packaging, suppliers, contract manufacturers, and 3PL sites. You'll play a key role in ensuring that all materials and partnerships meet our rigorous technical and legal standards.

  • Approve and monitor raw materials, packaging, and contract manufactured goods
  • Manage supplier assessments, including audits and visits
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and legal standards (HACCP, TACCP, VACCP)
  • Analyse microbiological data and support specification management
  • Handle supplier non-conformance and drive continuous improvement
  • Support internal and external audits and certification processes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and co-manufacturers

Experience & Qualifications

  • Background in Food Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related field (degree preferred but not essential)
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Assurance in food or drink manufacturing
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, TACCP, VACCP, and relevant food safety regulations
  • Experience with GFSI schemes and retailer Codes of Practice
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and technical documentation
