Hain Celestial is a leading food manufacturing business with a diverse portfolio of well-known brands including Ella's Kitchen, Hartley's, Linda McCartney's, Robertson's, Yorkshire Provender, Cully & Sully, and many more. We are currently recruiting for a Credit Control Manager to join our finance team in Leeds.
The Credit Control Manager will play a critical role in leading and developing the credit control team, managing cash flow by ensuring timely customer payments, and minimising the risk of bad debt across the business. This is a hands-on role that requires a tenacious, self-motivated and experienced professional, capable of operating within a group that has multiple brands and varying processes.
The successful candidate will have strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling them to build and maintain strong customer relationships while acting as the custodian of the sales ledger and ensuring its accuracy and integrity.
Key Responsibilities / Accountability Of The Role- Managing and overseeing all functions within the Credit Control Team
- Managing customer payments, cashflow and bad debt risk
- Proactive management of collections and customer deductions
- Communication at various stakeholders levels confidently and concisely
- Providing accurate reporting to the business, and able to understand large data sets quickly
- Enthusiastic and positive approach to problem solving
- Leading by example and being a great team player
- Experience in a similar role within a FMCG company
- Experience in managing teams and developing colleagues
- A passion for change, being able to adapt quickly to new ways of working
