Hackney Society has been protecting and promoting Hackney\’s unique heritage for almost 60 years, entirely volunteer run. We are looking for someone to help us tell our stories through publicity and PR for our campaigns, publications, events and community festival.
What difference will you make?
You will directly help with the success of our campaigns, publications, events and community festival.
What are we looking for?
Experience in PR or marketing, interest in heritage/history and/or community events. Living in or near Hackney would be an advantage but not essential.
What will you be doing?
We need someone to advise on and organise publicity and PR for Hackney Society, including our plaque campaign to commemorate local women, film premieres and book launches, and our annual Hackney History Festival in May.
