THE HACKING GAMES JOB OPENING: SENIOR MARKETING MANAGER

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Run our social channels across TikTok, Discord, Instagram, LinkedIn, Reddit, and YouTube. Create content that attracts gamers and earns trust with employers.
  • Produce short-form videos, graphics, memes, and stories that make cybersecurity feel exciting and accessible.
  • Translate AI and cybersecurity ideas into simple messages for multiple audiences and refine them with product and ops.
  • Lead campaigns with major partners and support pitches to government, enterprise, and education.
  • Create case studies and thought-leadership that strengthens our position in the cyber talent market.
  • Manage the brand across regions and adapt messaging without losing our identity.
  • Run direct marketing across email, SMS, and push, focused on driving engagement and conversion.
  • Oversee website content, user experience, and SEO.
  • Deliver digital marketing end-to-end including analytics, testing, paid, and community engagement.
  • Coordinate activations across esports, gaming, and cybersecurity events so our presence is consistent and visible.
  • Own funnel KPIs. This includes growth of fans, views, community members, and conversion into hacker assessments, as well as B2B lead generation targets for HAPTAI.
  • Overseeing a Junior Marketing Executive reporting in to you

Essential experience

  • 5+ years with a strong track record in marketing where your work delivered measurable growth. Backgrounds in tech, gaming, or early stage companies are ideal.
  • Clear understanding of how each platform works and the type of content that succeeds on them. You should be able to brief creators and spot good work.
  • Confident writer with a feel for social culture and how to create ideas that travel.
  • Experience managing websites and digital channels with a working knowledge of SEO and user experience.
  • Proven brand-building experience. You know how to define positioning and bring it to life across channels.
  • Ability to simplify complex products and make people care about them.
  • Experience running multi-channel B2B and B2C campaigns that delivered commercial outcomes.
  • Comfortable in chaos. You thrive in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments where priorities shift and you need to move quickly.

Highly desirable

  • Experience building youth focused or Gen Z brands, or working with challenger brands.
  • Real understanding of gaming culture.
  • Experience growing online communities (Discord, Twitch, gaming forums etc) and keeping them active.
  • Experience adapting campaigns for different regions.
  • Experience supporting fundraising or investor materials.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity, tech, Gen Z and Gen Alpha or social impact missions. You care about making a difference
