You'll be the trusted advisor for organisations ranging from multinational enterprises and public sector organisations to ambitious, high‑growth startups.
Success in this role requires someone who can seamlessly adapt their approach to different industries, cultures, business environments and ways of working.
You will operate across international time zones, navigate cultural nuances, manage executive stakeholders, and lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional outcomes.
Whether you work with a structured global enterprise or a fast‑moving founder‑led startup, you will build trust, communicate effectively and deliver with confidence.
This is a senior role for someone who combines exceptional project and client management with commercial awareness, cultural intelligence and a genuine passion for building long‑term client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Delivery
- Own a portfolio of client accounts across global enterprise organisations, public sector bodies and high‑growth startups.
- Develop trusted relationships with stakeholders at every level, from operational teams through to senior executives.
- Build long‑term relationships by consistently delivering exceptional service and becoming a trusted extension of the client’s team.
- Lead governance meetings, quarterly business reviews and project updates.
- Confidently manage expectations, navigate complex conversations and provide clear recommendations when priorities, scope or timelines evolve.
- Adapt your communication and management style to suit different cultures, regions and business environments.
- Identify opportunities to strengthen client relationships through continuous improvement and project development.
- Project Delivery
- Take ownership of multiple high‑profile projects from planning through to successful delivery and post‑project evaluation.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, resource planning, governance structures, dependencies and critical paths.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations and external suppliers to ensure seamless execution.
- Oversee project budgets, resource allocation and financial performance, ensuring projects remain commercially successful.
- Monitor project health, proactively identifying risks, removing blockers and implementing mitigation plans before issues impact delivery.
- Ensure every deliverable meets agreed quality standards while balancing speed, flexibility and client expectations.
- Manage projects involving multiple concurrent workstreams, stakeholders and international teams operating across different time zones.
- Drive continuous improvement by conducting project retrospectives and implementing lessons learned into future delivery.
- Client Success & Commercial Growth
- Develop a deep understanding of each client’s organisation, strategy and long‑term business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to expand client projects, introduce new services and support future growth while always acting in the client’s best interests.
- Work closely with leadership on renewals, proposals, statements of work and commercial planning.
- Ensure every engagement delivers measurable value, resulting in high client satisfaction, repeat business and long‑term partnerships.
- Monitor account health, project performance and client feedback, implementing improvements where required.
- Balance exceptional client service with strong commercial judgement and business objectives.
- Cross‑Functional Leadership
- Act as the central point of coordination across internal teams, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines and deliverables.
- Build strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Operations and Leadership to drive collaborative project delivery.
- Lead internal project planning sessions, delivery reviews and project governance meetings.
- Influence stakeholders without direct authority, bringing together diverse teams around shared objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration and continuous improvement across every project.
- Operational Excellence
- Continuously improve delivery methodologies, governance frameworks and operational processes as the business scales.
- Introduce best practices that improve efficiency, visibility and project outcomes.
- Develop reporting frameworks and executive dashboards that provide meaningful insight into project performance.
- Ensure consistent documentation, risk management and quality assurance across all client engagements.
- Contribute to building a world‑class client delivery function capable of supporting global growth.
- Global Project Delivery
- Successfully manage projects involving clients, partners and colleagues across multiple countries and time zones.
- Adapt your leadership and communication style to different cultures, business practices and organisational structures.
- Balance the governance and process expected by multinational enterprises with the pace and agility required by founder‑led startups.
- Represent The Hacking Games professionally with clients around the world, building credibility through excellent communication, cultural awareness and consistently outstanding delivery.
- Travel when required to support key client meetings, workshops and project delivery.
