As the THG Project Manager / Account Director, you will combine exceptional client management and project delivery skills with the ability to build and develop strategic relationships.

This role reports directly to the Chief Business Officer, who leads Partner Relations, you will work closely with them to support the development and management of key partner relationships.

This is a highly client-facing role.

You will take ownership of projects and partnerships from initial engagement through to delivery, coordinating internal teams, external partners and senior stakeholders to ensure commitments are delivered to a consistently high standard.

We are looking for someone who enjoys making things happen, someone who can build the relationship, understand the objective, create the plan, bring the right people together and take ownership until the outcome is delivered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partnership & Relationship Management
  • Act as the day-to-day point of contact for our partners, building trusted relationships from operational teams through to management.
  • Understand each partner's goals, ways of working and internal pressures, and shape how we work together accordingly.
  • Spot opportunities to deepen existing partnerships into new programmes, markets or regions.
  • Represent The Hacking Games professionally with partner organisations and at client meetings and industry events, adapting your approach to different cultures, business practices and organisational structures.
  • Programme & Project Delivery
  • Own the end-to-end delivery of complex client and partner programmes across multiple workstreams, including planning and delivering workshops, events, launches and other key activations.
  • Coordinate internal teams, external suppliers, logistics and content so milestones are met and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Manage projects involving multiple concurrent workstreams, stakeholders and international teams.
  • Translate partnership agreements and commitments into practical delivery plans, and ensure partner expectations are realistic and aligned with what THG can deliver.
  • Be comfortable being hands-on when required, including attending and supporting delivery on the ground.
  • Travel when required to support key partner meetings, programme launches and joint events.
  • Events & Programme Activation
  • Support the planning and delivery of THG events, workshops, launches and partner activations.
  • Work with clients and partners to bring programmes to life across different markets and audiences.
  • Coordinate logistics, stakeholders, suppliers, content and internal teams to ensure successful execution.
  • Be comfortable being hands-on when required, including attending and supporting delivery on the ground.
  • Represent THG professionally at client meetings, industry events and partner activations.
  • Governance & Reporting
  • Run partner review meetings, steering groups and regular check-ins, with clear agendas and follow-through on actions.
  • Keep documentation, trackers and status reporting clear, current and genuinely useful, and report programme progress, risks and outcomes to partners and to our leadership team.
  • Monitor the health of each partnership and address friction early, before it becomes a problem.
  • Balance an exceptional partner experience with sound judgement on scope, budgets and resourcing.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Act as the internal bridge between partners and our product, research, marketing and delivery teams, making sure partner commitments are deliverable and partner feedback reaches the right people.
  • Influence internal stakeholders without direct authority to keep partner programmes prioritised.

About You

Essential Experience & Skills

  • Significant experience in a dedicated Partnerships Management role, not general account management, customer success or direct sales.
  • Proven track record identifying, recruiting and onboarding partners, from first outreach through signed agreement.
  • Demonstrable experience negotiating partnership agreements, commission structures or revenue-share terms.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management and negotiation skills, with the confidence to build credibility with partners at all levels.
  • Strong commercial awareness, comfortable owning margin, exclusivity and resourcing conversations.
  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, communicating clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Built partner governance, reporting and communication frameworks that give leadership visibility into partner-sourced pipeline and revenue.
